Obnoxious to visitor

Met a friend staying here to have dinner and came by CalTrain and bike. Man approached me, demanded to know why I was locking my bike to a pole at the side of the hotel. I asked who he was and he became even more belligerent and said he's the owner. I explained I was meeting my friend. He said no, you're lying, you just want to watch the Giants game, told me to leave the property or he would call the police. Needless to say, we did not eat there and I'll never recommend this place. Terrible attitude.

A Quality Stay

We had a one-night stay in late March 2008. Very impressed with the quality of service, cleanliness of the room, helpfulness of the staff... even the breakfast was first-rate. Kids were delighted at the prospect of fresh cookies at checkout (7am to catch a flight out of SFO... less than 5 minutes away). Would DEFINITELY stay here again if in the SFO area...

i was going to stay @ the hotel accross the street and 3 days before i was to go down i changed to the Hampton and still got a great deal and a good room !!

BAD reservation experience

As I wrote on a formal complaint letter already e-mailed to Yahoo! Travel some days ago, this was a very bad experience as the room that was reserved for us was totally different of what we have asked (and paid for). The front desk manager was not very helpful, but the location of the hotel was ok.

Staff was too nice

Referred by a friend to stay here instead of another hotel nearby. Was very happy to be saving money which is honestly my biggest concern. But I was pleasantly surprised to be staying at a new hotel with very clean rooms. Breakfast was fantastic which I normally skip and grab a cup of coffee but theirs was like a bed & breakfast and I couldn't resist. I'm writing this because the gal at the front desk was really nice and sincere. You should stay for the value and will appreciate the service.

Walked across the street

Originally booked across the street at the mega-Marriott for a 3-day meeting. My room overlooked what appeared to be a brand new Hampton Inn and I walked over to check their rates. Not only was the Hampton's rate about $25 cheaper but they included free parking and internet which the Marriott charged $30/day for. I was surprised how nice the breakfast was which was also free (the same would have easily cost me $12/day at the Marriott). Rooms were nice, contemporary, clean, and most importantly NEW! I got several of my assoiciates to move the last day and they were pleased with the Hampton but now angry that they over paid approximately $150 each by staying at the Marriott for the prior 2 nights. If you got an unlimited budget-stay at the mega-Marriott, if you're trying to save money-stay at the Hampton.
