Pleasant stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/29/07
My wife and I spent 3 days here last weekend. We found it to be very comfortable and relaxing. The room was smallish but well-kept and inviting, paneled with solid pine planking. The location was nice, lots of trees and back from the road. The C&O trail, and also the WM paved bike trail was almost within sight. But our favorite thing about the motel was spending an evening on the large covered front porch by the office. The office is located in a large house, in front of the motel itself. We sat on the porch swing, reading. There were also chairs, and small tables. The continental breakfast was typical for a small motel, but if you need something more, there is a small restarant open for breakfast right across the street. We look forward to going back soon.

Not as pictured, disapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/06
This looks like a nice country inn from the picture on the website, a big Victorian looking house, when indeed it is a 50's, small strip motel. We asked about when we got there, but was told guests can only be put in the house when the small units are full. We had the end unit, #7, which smelled of curry powder, which wouldn't disappear even with the fan on and the windows open. There was a communcation problem with the worker there, as English was not his first language, and he had not adequately learned the language enough to run a business in this area. We were horribly disapointed, and will never return.

It's a good decent place. I liked everything about it. It's cice bath, bed and view and value for money. It's a good decent place. I liked everything about it. It's cice bath, bed and view and value for money.
