Good but Not Great
By Friend..., 5/22/12
Lodging: - Beds are comfortable - Bedding seems new - Decor is very nice - Bathrooms leave plenty to be desired =-[ The water pressure is horrible and the amenities (Shower, Toilet, and Fixtures) need some serious revamping!!! Why they were not renovated when the rooms were, when the new owner took over, we have no idea??? - Inside Bar/Restaurant has a nice character, but the food is lacking in quality and presentation. The Logan has good intentions but poor execution. It is as if the chef is either way over shooting his culinary ability or reading way to many food magazines and blogs. - Please save yourself the trouble of ordering any "Bone In Fish"... Quite dissatisfying when you have to spend much of your dinning experience picking through bones and or choking on them. My advice to the chef is... leave the fish to someone who knows how to prepare it. The rest of the seafood fare and appetizing to those who don't eat much seafood... - Steaks are adequate as far as size and price, and the cuts seem very fair. Pub fare is expensive and not at all worth it. Head to Triump Brewery if you want some good pub fare!!! - Burgers are supposed to be high quality "Angus Beef", but locals feel it is your standard supermarket chuck beef. Very greasy, chewy mini balls of fat combined with beef, and priced way beyond what you taste and desire. -Drinks are over priced and under poured, just so you know. The outside bartender spends more time smoking cigarettes out back than he does waiting on his customers... - Now for the compliments... The wings are absolutely terrific!!! Best in town according to many of my local friends!!! - Lodging is Very Nice as I mentions earlier. - Staff is attentive and courteous (Unless you have the unpleasant circumstance of being severed by "Smokey the "Bear-tender'" - It is a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy the local views and atmosphere -All and all I give it 3 out of 5 Stars!!! (With plenty of room to improve!)

Ruined my Mother's Day
By Liz Rice, 5/13/12
Brunch reserved a month ago. Received 2 phone calls asking to confirm reservations in the last 24 hours. Returned the first call and confirmed. But they still called a second time to ask for conformation while we were driving there. Arrived on time , since there was only 2 of us placed directly in the sun as all the tables with just 2 seats were arranged that way. Given a major indifferent slacker as a waiter. Management we were told arranges the seating. Well, management is obviously incompetent, sadistic towards couples and Mothers, uncommunicative with each other, and should not be in the restaurant business. We will never return.

Great food
By Ann, 3/26/12
Was there with friends. It was my first trip to New Hope, Pennsylvania. It is such a nice, friendly little town. The Logan Inn has pleasant staff that really makes you feel welcomed. The bar is cosy and the live music is pretty nice. The dining area is well decorated and spacious. The tables are not too close to each other so you do have a good space and privacy. Once seated at the table, you can still hear a little music from the bar which I find very pleasing as their music choice is soothing. We were able to try a lot of dishes on the menu and they were all delicious and came in good portion. I recommend their whole fish dishes. The dishes came with vegetables and a good portion of rice, a very healthy choice for anyone who’s health conscious. I also liked their desserts, which were also very good and not too sweet. I’d recommend you have them with their nice coffee or tea. Overall, I had great time and the Logan Inn is a place you should definitely visit while you are in New Hope or just passing by. You will leave with a happy smile on your face.

the best
By Romeo, 1/31/12
The Logan Inn is a wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My wife and I like to come here to hang out and just have good food. We've had the steak and burgers before, but this time around, we tried the fish and lobster. They were all excellent - just delectable. And you can't go wong with any of the desserts. Personnaly, I enjoy the bread pudding with coffee. It's a wonderful place. The band music makes it a fun place to be, and the great staff makes you feel very welcome and are quite attentive.

Great food and great service
By Kent, 1/29/12
This restaurant is top-notch. I've eaten here numerous times and I always get a sumptuous meal and attentive service. They obviously use top-notch ingredients and everything I've eaten here as been exceptional. The ambiance and location are excellent, and the outdoor bar is always hopping in warm weather. I'd recommend the Logan Inn to anyone!

Overpriced, so-so food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/9/11
Likes: Atmosphere is pleasant to sit outside on a nice day. Wait staff was courteous. Dislikes: Food was way over priced for the quality. I had a $15 turkey sandwich- tomato was pale white and flavorless, chips were tasteless and the roll was down right stale. With all the other restaurants to go to in New Hope I will not return nor could I recommend the Logan Inn.

Poor Management Poor Service No Customer Skills
By Keith, 7/5/10
Logan Inn location looked nice however, management was scary and customer service skills were even scarier. Our story goes like this, we order two iced teas, two steak salads (overpriced at 19.00 each) my wife is allergic to Almonds and asked for her salad without Almonds, we also ordered a blooming onion as an appetizer. Our salads arrived before our appetizer, and we noticed that my wifes salad still had almonds, the waitress apologized and took the salad back to get it corrected when they brought our onion to the table. Shortly after the onion arrived we had not eaten anything yet, a manager came to the table who stated that "they could not and would not take the almonds off the salad". We said that is wrong since there is an allergy involved, and she said" that the kitchen had 300 tickets and the chef would not honor special requests". We said no problem we would pay for our iced teas and we left six dollars and said we would go elsewhere obviously they did not want our business. We tried to leave and the manager said call my brother he is a police officer and I said go ahead, we left and the manager proceeded to follow us on the street trying to get the police on the phone. I reiterated that we paid for what we consumed six dollars should cover two non alcoholic iced teas and this girl rudely said out iced teas are 4.50 each. My wife an I walked across the bridge to Lambertville, NJ and this girl who said her father is the chef and her brother who was suppose to be a cop was the owner, continued to follow us and said she was now going to call the Lambertville, NJ police. Lambertville is across from New Hope, PA. My wife and I said let's get away from this crazy girl and we went inot an Antique Store, this girl sat out fron of the store screaming on the phone about us leaving. This establishment had bad service, was over priced and has poor management I would not recommend it to anyone and I will be alerting the Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau and writing the local news papers because the owners and management need to understand that we are the customers.

It is room 14 that is haunted
By ben's mom, 11/9/08
We had a great time. We stayed in Room 14 we arrived early and they were able to show us into the room by 1:00 p.m. We walked around town and decided to eat at Taste Buds. We went back to our room early. During the night I woke up many times hearing a door opening and closing. I heard loud foot steps right outside our door and out to the back wall. When I woke up I told my husband and he said he heard it also. He told me he felt someone in the room and I said I couldn't believe the footsteps out side the door. We both went out and tested each other and we couldn't hear anything when we were walking. My husband and I were both freaked out. He told me he woke up and he thought someone was in our bathroom and he felt something on his feet. We discussed this throughout the day. We stayed there on the 7th and I felt like someone was throwing tissues on me all night to wake me up. If you wanted a haunting, Room 14 was crazy. I don't think I could ever stay in that room again. We have stayed at the Inn about 15 times in the last 10 years. We love the new chef and the food is excellent. I just don't want to hear or see another ghost! I mean it. I think it is funny since we saw the people going into Room 6 and we heard they didn't see a thing. YEAH no kidding all the ghosts were busy in our room... CRAZY

Lousy lodging but Great Food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/08
We just spent the weekend here for our 22nd Wedding anniversary. The weekend was ruined because the Inn is so loud being on a busy tourist street. The terrace bar and restaurant are open late 2:00am. Our room was on the front just above it. Loud drunks & overhead music through speakers. Not the peaceful romantic trip we had hoped for. Dine here, the food is awesome but do not sleep here. Bye the way; it is super haunted. Do not stay in room 6. Check out the history. After this trip we renamed the town NO Hope Pa. It is more fitting. Oddest town on the map.
