It is room 14 that is haunted
By , 11/09/08
We had a great time. We stayed in Room 14 we arrived early and they were able to show us into the room by 1:00 p.m. We walked around town and decided to eat at Taste Buds. We went back to our room early. During the night I woke up many times hearing a door opening and closing. I heard loud foot steps right outside our door and out to the back wall. When I woke up I told my husband and he said he heard it also. He told me he felt someone in the room and I said I couldn't believe the footsteps out side the door. We both went out and tested each other and we couldn't hear anything when we were walking. My husband and I were both freaked out. He told me he woke up and he thought someone was in our bathroom and he felt something on his feet. We discussed this throughout the day. We stayed there on the 7th and I felt like someone was throwing tissues on me all night to wake me up. If you wanted a haunting, Room 14 was crazy. I don't think I could ever stay in that room again. We have stayed at the Inn about 15 times in the last 10 years. We love the new chef and the food is excellent. I just don't want to hear or see another ghost! I mean it. I think it is funny since we saw the people going into Room 6 and we heard they didn't see a thing. YEAH no kidding all the ghosts were busy in our room... CRAZY

Lousy lodging but Great Food
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/08
We just spent the weekend here for our 22nd Wedding anniversary. The weekend was ruined because the Inn is so loud being on a busy tourist street. The terrace bar and restaurant are open late 2:00am. Our room was on the front just above it. Loud drunks & overhead music through speakers. Not the peaceful romantic trip we had hoped for. Dine here, the food is awesome but do not sleep here. Bye the way; it is super haunted. Do not stay in room 6. Check out the history. After this trip we renamed the town NO Hope Pa. It is more fitting. Oddest town on the map.

Excellent experience!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/08
We stayed at the Logan Inn for a couple of days at the beginning of June 2008. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accomodating, especially Kate and Anthony. We thought that there was something wrong in our room and Kate and Anthony came right up and investigated. Though there ended up being nothing wrong, to our embarrassment, Kate still gave us a certificate for a free nights stay. The restaurant is excellent...I suggest trying the prime rib but bring a hearty appetite. Great location in the center of town. We have stayed in room 6 before and if you are looking to get "tucked in" at night, or to watch the shutters open and close by themselve by the ghost of Emily, definitely try this room!!!! My only suggestion for the Inn....install an elevator for guests on the top floor lol.

Great Time at The Logan
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/08
My fiancee and I stayed at the Logan Inn for a romantic, and spooky weekend getaway. Yes, the Inn is reported to be haunted, and we stayed in the infamous "room 6". Although we had no paranormal encounters, we had a great time! The staff is courteous and friendly. The room was beautiful. The Inn was clean and very nostalgic. The food was a bit pricey, but was WONDERFUL was the portions are huge... so it was well worth the money. The tavern downstairs was filled with both locals and inn guests... and the crowd was very friendly. Saturday night featured live music, and it was a great time. We will definately be returning... not only with hopes of seeing a few ghosts, but just to enjoy the atmosphere and warmth that the Logan has to offer.

Excellent New Chef/Owners
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/07/08
If you haven't been to the Logan Inn in the past year, you're in for a real treat. The new owner/chef, Pete, has completely renovated the menu (which was sorely needed) into one of the finest dining experiences in Bucks County. The restaurant interior itself has also seen changes to enhance the dining experience. A recent luncheon special of flounder francaise over spinach and surrounded by a clever hollandaise/lemon sauce with a hint of both tarragon and dill reminded me of a famous dish prepared at Commandor's Palace in New Orleans (utilizing drum fish instead). Pete's version was just as delicate, perfectly prepared and presented. The Logan Inn will amaze your tastebuds with a wide array of offerings and "top shelf" daily specials so, please, stop in to see "The New Logan Inn". Happy Hour Specials daily 4pm-6pm can't be beat either. Enjoy

Best in area
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/07
Great restaurant with a cozy inside and a fantastic outside area. Basically come here every time we visit the area. Their parking lot is quite convenient also during the busy summer months.

Great Bar, Food And Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/07
I love hanginng out in the summer with great friends cocktails and a great meal!! The Logan Inn is the absolute best place for doing all three. The out door bar is actually air conditioned. You have to see and feel it to believe it. So it maybe 85 degrees out and humid, but it is so comfortable at the bar!! The crab fondue is out of this world and I just loved the sea bass. This is a definite to do in a great town. I can not wait to go back. I also asked about the rooms and they are very affordable, especially for being in the center of town. I am going to try to stay one weekend. I will let you know how it goes

It's changed....what a shame
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/24/07
My husband and I have been making yearly visits to New Hope every year for the past 30 years. We would always start our day off with lunch at the Logsn. Sometimes even when we would travel to Peddlers' Village we would stop at the Logan first for lunch and then be on our way. After our last visit we will be trying the other restaurants in New Hope. It took a little over an hour to finish a simple lunch...no appetizers or dessert. Service was polite but very slow. I was also very disappointed with the chicken fingers. They have always been very tender and delicious. The sauce they used to be served with was also excellent. This time the chicken fingers were thick and lacked taste. The dipping sauce was very runny and more like soup than a sauce.
