Quality Suites Oceanfront, Jacksonville Beach

The hotel allows smoking on the balconies which brings smoke into the building. The rooms are worn out. The staff is great and I feel sorry that they have to work for owners that appear to not want to put money back into this place. The building and grounds look as if they were at one time beautiful. The grounds and parking need cleaning.

All the rooms in this hotel have ocean front balconys, its right next to Joe's Crab Shack, and Carrabbas and there is a Walgreens, McDonalds right up the road. Great Location, Great Drink specials on Fridays, GREAT GREAT GREAT!!

My family and I visited this hotel last weekend. I have to say it far exceeded my expectations. All of the rooms are oceanfront suites, with a "living room" and bedroom, and a balcony overlooking the ocean. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Surprisingly, one of the things I liked best about the hotel was the free breakfast. I'm always skeptical of what you'll get when hotels advertise a "complimentary" breakfast, but this hotel provides a wonderful breakfast buffet every morning that has something for everyone. (Items included eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, grits, waffles, biscuits, bagels, toast, donuts, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, various types of coffee, orange juice & apple juice.) Right outside the hotel is a boardwalk and then you cross over to the beach. The beach was clean and beautiful. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The only potential downside to this hotel is if you're looking for a large pool. I wasn't -- I spent all of my time on the beach -- so this wasn't an issue for me. I would definitely go back and will recommend this hotel to others.

The Quality Inn on Jacksonville Beach was a place that I will stay at again. Clean, Friendly, Excellent Breakfast Buffet, Happy Hour, Beautiful ocean front view. We traveled from Michigans Upper Peninsula to visit a relative in Jacksonville. This is the place we will stay from now on!! Keep up the good work!

We were in Jacksonville for a conference at a downtown hotel, checked out after the conference, drove up to Jacksonville Beach, and stayed for a week's vacation. This hotel was great! Clean room with great view: the sun coming up over the Atlantic each morning is a sight to see! Easy access to touristy sites. Free breakfast was excellent: not just doughnuts & coffee, either!! Free parking. Free Happy Hour. The beach right outside the hotel door. I will definitely be back.

We had be scheduled to stay at a much more expensive resort- after one night of noisy guests and early morning construction noise, we decided to try out this hotel. What a wonderful surprise! We loved the view, the quiet room and the huge tub! Our visit turned out relaxing, renewing and restful- even though we had a busy itinerary! Coming back "home" every night was a sigh of relief. Thank you for the nice stay, we know where to stay now!!

My husband and I have been together for 12 years and finally decided to get married. We chose Quality Inn Suites because it's close to home and we only had one night we could go out.I called to make the reservations and the young lady was very nice. She offered a "Honey moon package" to us for $60.00 to included Roses, rose peddles, chocolet strawberries, and champagne. I told my husband not to buy any flowers because I had it handled. Well we check in and go to the room and there was nothing!!!! I was very upset so I called down and spoke to Lindsey. Very nice young lady. She apologized and offered to bring us roses and champagne at no cost for the mistake. I was please with that even though we didn't get the other items. When we checked out we were charged for the roses and champagne and was told we didn't order the package when we made the reservations. Which made us feel like the manager was calling us liars over her personnels mistake. Sicerely sad, Pamela S Ewing
