I can’t find anything positive to say about this place except it was cheap. Very unfriendly staff, tub didn’t drain, only one burner worked on stove top, bedding was disgusting (fortunately we brought our own). We had to put a pillow under the sofa cushions or we’d be sitting on the floor. We asked for a non-smoking room but were surrounded by smoking rooms. Stunk in hall. Garbage always piled in side entry (smelled). Very noisy. We had our two dogs with us and believe in being responsible dog owners by picking up after our dogs. No one else must feel that way staying at this place. Piles of dog feces everywhere you went outside including on the sidewalk. Management should have dog rules when people check in. Garbage all over the parking lot. Couldn’t wait to leave.

The smell is the rooms was moldy/musty smell, it made me sick the 5-10 min. I was there. I talked to the manager and they were going to move us to another room and the smell was worse, got my money back and would NEVER go ther or recommend it to anyone.

You have to ring a bell to get someone to come to the front desk! Shouldn't someone always be there to greet customers? The front desk female is not friendly and acts like it's trouble to get you something. Lights and vents are broken in the room. The whole place stinks of smoke even though our room is supposedly non-smoking. The room they gave us is tiny! Need I go on?

This hotel was the worst i have ever seen the location was fine but the service really sucked. There is no breakfast as promised, the police showed up here at least 3 different times during my stay, there are creepy people who will knock on your door, noisy people in the parking lot, and the walls are paper thin. So if your planning on having breakfast or sleeping, or if you have children i suggest going to a different hotel even if it means breaking the bank a little bit.

The reviews are true. I was here in Minnesota to work for awhile and needed something that was cheap to live but clean and quite. At this place, I had to move three times due to the noise and the last room smelled of urine, dogs barking next door, babies crying down the hall and the slamming of doors to all hours of the night, my camping tent has thicker walls and the most disgusting smells you could imagine walking down the hall way, I finally had enough and move down the street. Out of the thousands of Hotels and Motels that I have stayed in, this made my Top 10 Worst Hotels list.

When we came back from a fun day at Valleyfair, someone else was checked into our room after we tryed our key and got cussed out by the new tenant. The hotel had moved SomE of our belongings upstairs without even telling us. Some of our stuff was missing and when they talked to the housekeeper she had some of stuff deep in her cart. We were furious. We had to call the police to get our money back for the rest of our vacation, which we cut short because of this dishonest hotel and not to mention all the cold food that went to waste as we had stocked up on food for our stay which we had to throw away as we live hours away & couldnt keep it cold. We traveled all the way home that night instead of staying another night in this dishonest hotel. This is the WorsT hotel experience we have ever had and we travel Alot. PLease dont stay here unless you want to ruin your vacation and have some of your stuff missing

The walls are paper thin. I could hear the guy next door was coughing, and the dog across the hall barking. So if you want a place to sleep don't stay here. I got a kitchenette because I thought it would save on going out to eat. Wrong it's hard to cook with out any pots and the stove top not working. So if you like a pet friendly atmosphere and no sleep. Enjoy!!

We have stayed at the Sandalwood Studios and Suites for the past 2 years while attending Minnesota Twins games as well as the Renaissance Festival. We were very much satisfied with the accomidations. We found the service very good. The rooms were excellent(very clean)! We were especially impressed with the kitchenettes. It saved us money being able to eat in as opposed to spending money at a restarant. We plan on staying there this year as we again take in a Twin's game and attend the Renaissance Festival.

How can AAA tarnish their reputation by posting their approval sign outside this establishment? It baffles the mind. It smells bad throughout the hallways, garbage is piled up outside rooms, inside laundry room, and on the lawn. Filthy bed comforters, pull out couches broken, screaming children running down the halls, need I say more.
