feels like home
By ,
Since our first trip to Santa Fe in 2008, my husband and I have stayed at The Old Santa Fe Inn, this charming, comfortable and pet friendly inn has all the comforts of home, the staff is friendly and helpful and have always been nice to our yorkie Bailey. If I could ask for one extra thing it would be that they add a pet kennel on property so that we could visit the attractions and maybe go out to eat, we'd be willing to pay for the service. Aside from that, The Old Santa Fe Inn is perfectly located just 3 blocks from the plaza, close to food, attractions, and the mountains. Michael at the front desk adds to the ambiance of the inn and will go beyond to make you feel welcome. No negative comments here we love Santa Fe and The Old Santa Fe Inn. See You in 2012

Cozy room
By ,
We stayed for one night in late June. The room was very cozy and inviting. Bed comfortable. Continental breakfast was very complete (juice and cereal to eggs and bacon) and served in a nice dining room area. Staff very attentive to filling items that were running low on the breakfast buffet. Desk staff courteous and helpful. The one problem we experienced was with parking. The lot is rather small. Due to family obligations we returned to our room at 11 p.m. Despite there being a parking space right in front of the door to our room, we were unable to park there because a UHaul with tow pack and another large vehicle were parked in the lot, blocking our access to the parking space. The parking spaces were very narrow also, and that made it even more difficult to manuever. Except for that problem, our stay was a pleasant one.

A nice place to stay near the plaza.
By ,
This hotel is a motel-style inn (parking in front of the rooms) that has been very nicely remodeled. My room was small, but very appealing and comfortable, and it was nice to be able to park right outside. Service was good but not exceptional. The hotel is situated just outside the center of town, and you can walk a few short blocks to the the plaza, shops and restaurants. The room comes with a breakfast buffet that is not elaborate, but very well done. I would stay here again, and I recommend it. For what I paid (about $140 in January) it was a good value.

Disappointing
By ,
Well located. Strip center office units converted to motel. Lacks ambiance. The amenities are fine, but there are other more "authentic" places to stay to really enjoy the Santa Fe experience.

They get a 10 star rating
By ,
After a horribe experience with Dancing Ground, I found the complete opposite with Old Santa Fe Inn. Caro(employee at Old Santa Fe), went above and beyond not only upgrading us to a room with a king size bed at no extra charge, but she also told us the best and low priced places to eat. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Excellent full breakfast everyday and BBQ's on Sunday & Wednesdays for their guests. Their entire staff is courteous and available 24hrs a day. This place left such a good impression with me that should I ever return to Santa Fe I'd go back to the Old Santa Fe Inn. It's also less than a 5 minute walk to the Plaza.

Downtown with parking for a motorhome and pet friendly
The hotel is truly a great value because of its location and ammenities. First of all it is a short walking distance to the plaza. It is truly a pet friendly motel and had a safe and secure parking space for my motorhome. What a rarity to have that and be this close to the plaza. For those of you with dogs the Old Santa Fe Inn has first floor exterior entrances and plenty of grassy parks near and around the motel. The suite was spacious and clean. The comfort of the bed was excellent. The motels recent renovation was excellent, except for they should have spent a liitle money insulating the plumbing. It was a liitle loud when our neighbor was taking a shower. All in all a superb place to take pets and kids.

Fantastic surprise
By ,
When we pulled into the parking lot, we almost turned around and looked elsewhere. At first glance, the hotel looks like a discount motel. However, the Old Santa Fe inn is very charming. Our room had a nice fireplace, tile floors and tub, and a good bed. The location puts it within walking distance to the plaza. The breakfast buffet was simple, but definitely a step above what we expected. At $80 per night, this hotel is a good bargain. We decided to stay an extra night, and we will definitely stay here again if we return to the Santa Fe area.

Great value
By ,
We stayed by chance as the hotel we booked was overbooked. We were very surprised at the quality of this hotel and the service they provide. We will not stay anywhere else on our regular visits to Santa fe and we will tell all of our friends and associates. Fred and Darr
