AWESOME!!!!
By B, 12/7/12
We stayed at Royal Solaris for our Honeymoon November 12-17 this year. It was wonderful! The service was outstanding!! Alex Bardio was our concierge and he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable!! If we go back we would defiantly ask for him. Housekeeping was outstanding as well. The grounds are very well kept and everything is very clean. The food, entertainment and drinks were great! I cannot think of a single complaint. I would highly recommend Royal Solaris to anyone that is making a trip to Cabo.

2011 vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/31/11
My husband and I stayed at the Royal Solaris in San Jose del Cabo recently. the staff was great, the grounds beautiful. However, when we arrived form the airport instead of being taken directly to the registration desk. we were walked to a different spot where a young mean spent approximately 45 minutes to an hour trying to persuade us to spend half a day of our vacation and listed to their time-share deal which we were not interested in. Food was decent, and the nightly show entertaining. I'm not sure if I would ever go back there!

Don't use there phones
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/19/11
While we where in the resort we made some collect calls back to Canada expecting to pay a fair fee for an international call, to our surprise the Hotel has there own phone system and can charge what ever they like in are case it was 10.00 a minute. Our son in Saskatchewan Canada was having some difficulties as we called several times. Needless to say our phone bill was a very unpleasant surprise. Our own phone system Sasktel can not do anything about the charges. The Hotel was a very clean and the rooms where great. The only other thing that was very upsetting is they offer a Vip service at the expensive of the other guests. On nights that they offer a special supper for the Vip guests some of the restaurants are closed and the food offerings in the ones that are open is limited. I am not sure how much it costs to be a Vip but certainly ask your travel agent before you book. The weather in Cabos was second to none, we had 14 days of solid sunshine. The mornings start of cool (barely warm enough for shorts) by 10.00 it is comfortable and by noon it is toasty. The sun sets early and by 7.00 pm it is cool. Overall we enjoyed it and would go back.

MONEY SUCKER!! NO SAFE BEACH TO SWIM?
By Julie, 6/3/10
You have to pay to go to a swimable beach $40 cab, $16 a per. one way shuttle? If you want to sight see or leave the resort expect to pay, big bucks! Do not do tours through the resort rip off !!! Go to San Lucas and barter twice the fun 1/2 the price!! If you are drinkers or like to stay out late no food past 1am but crappy lobbie sandwiches and no acohol served between 1:30am- 10am!!! So if you are at the bars in san lucas eat there, drink there and try to find a friend to ride back with.... We will never stay there again. p.s they also overcharged my credit card multiple times!!!

BEAUTIFUL
By ron r, 5/5/10
Spring Break, March 2010. The place was beautiful. The food was okay at the buffets. Two very good meals at the restaurants, but very hard to get a reservation. Nightly entertainment was enjoyable.Getting around was no problem. Local bus into San Jose del Cabo was SAFE AND CHEAP. Transportation to Cabo San Lucas was a little more expensive but not out of line. Everyone very friendly. Pools are very nice and well maintained The Dinner Cruise was fantastic. Very good food and very good entertainment.Entirely to many people trying to sell you everything from the minute you step off the plane and enter into the Hotel. Beware of their sales pitch. Had to say "no" to five (5) different people trying to sell the same time share. That was the only issue we really did not enjoy. Would we go back? YOU BET?? if all you want is to soak up the sun and relax, go to the Royal Solaris.

Nice Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/6/10
Had heard stories about high pressure time share sales at check in, told them no right away and no problem. Great staff from desk to housekeeping. Food had some highlights, Drinks are good with big variety. Could use new bartender in sports bar, pool game was more important the customers. All in All good value and a nice place.

Great vacation for the money!
By Jonny, 2/2/10
The only dislike was SOME of the food. They did have some great food at this resort, but I don't think many American stomachs can handle the drastic change in diet. The way Mexicans cook is just different and anyone who says it's horrible obviously have never been outside of the US and eat McDonalds everyday. The bartenders and servers were great and frendly. And it seemed there was someone cleaning something everytime I turned a corner. I could live at this place.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Just waste of money, time, and health.... DO not go there, the people are not professional, the food is terrible, and the service SUCKS!!! We all got stomach flu - not just one person, but 2 families...its not worth your money... The people will rip you off! We tried to make an international phone call, and they said to put a deposit at the front desk, and we only did 1 minute call that should have cost us $4.50 per minute, instead they abused our credit card and charged $189.80 ....very corrupt staff and incompetent... If you want to be robbed from a family or good holiday vacation, then this is the pace to be, but if you want to avoid it, then you will save your self a lot of headache, time, happiness, health, and Money! This is a Shity place...the only people that were decent and kind were the working people; the bus boys, the waiters and the cleaning people...these are the poor and unprivileged, where as the people in the upper level are jerks...and incompetent and rude.

LOVED IT - Will go back for sure
By Larry, 1/22/09
The Service was outstanding. The resort is beautiful, the drinks plentiful (sp?), the food was excellent, the entertainment pretty good too. NO COMPLAINTS. The weather was wonderful. Plus, we went whale watching and saw several Humpback Whales. Highly recommend this resort/place if going to Los Cobos. Cabo San Lucas is nice to visit, but San Jose del Cabo is MUCH nicer.
