The Terrace Hotel, Lakeland

I've stayed at several other hotels in Lakeland on business, and I must say that this restored Boutique Hotel beats them all - By Far! OK It's pricey, but well worth the money. It is charming, has character and they deliver the best southern hospitality like no one else in town. The rooms are nice, comfortable with wireless access. They give you complimentary bottled water each day and the bathroom amenities are Aveda, (good stuff). The complimentary valet parking is very convenient and the entire staff I encountered were polite and knowledgeable. I decided to splurge after reviewing their dinner menu - and the food was impeccable, the preparation and service was unusually pleasant (not what you'd expect to find in a small fla town). I'd stay here again just to eat in their restaurant. Aside from all this - I really like the central location and the 2 nearby lakes are great for my morning run. Highly recommended for business travelers. (not sure if I'd wanna vacation in Lakeland though...)

The hotel has a lot of charm, a nice view, and a great location. The atmosphere in the downtown area is quaint with a lot too offer within a very short stroll from the hotel.
