Stay Away
By William, 6/20/11
This hotel accused me of damaging a TV that my family did not do. I never had this happen before in my 35 years of staying in hotels and now have to go through a process of defending myself. My advise is not to stay here. Who knows what shenanigans they try to pull when they have your credit card number. Now, do we have to take a picture of a room upon departure to prove wrongful accusations after the fact? And, they just put it on my card ($885.00) without any notification. That is cold!

Great hotel! Can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/15/09
I stayed at the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel last month. It was a very relaxing experience. The spa service is great, as well the large pool. Just driving up to it, you can tell this is luxury at its best. The staff is friendly and willing to answer all of your questions. The rooms are posh and no expense was spared with the quality of the linens. The beds are very comfortable, and they give you plenty of pillows. The room service is fantastic!! I would definately stay there again!

Great location. Within minutes to sooo many wineries and walking to shopping and other restaurants. Brasserie restaurant was great, rooms were nice and spacious, ample free parking.

A bit dated
By ru2bsi, 4/11/08
I liked that it was centrally located to town and easy to get in and out of... A bit dated; and currently doing some updating to entrance - On site restaurant was fabulous!

Not for sensitive sleepers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/25/07
This is a nice hotel in Santa Rosa in the downtown area. It is in walking distance of a big mall and several resteraunts, also many shops. The lobby is nice and upscale and the staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are nice, there is a big outdoor pool and a spa. There is a nice lawn area in back and a few little trails to a small creek. The rooms are nice, the soaps and shampoos are fancy, and everything seemed clean. The shower worked well and there were no weird smells or perfumes. One thing I would say is that the walls are very thin, and although the clientele are usually respectful, it isn't the ideal place for sensitive sleepers. My room had pipes that made a slight sound and irrated me but everyone else slept fine. The front staff even told me the walls are thin. So very sensitive sleepers might want to find something else. There is no free breakfast, but a resteraunt on site. Local calls are $1 each. The cable channels are limited to 1-29, no Disney or Nickelodian. All in al a good hotel.

Worst Hotel Service Ever!
By ChrisW, 7/18/06
We got back tired at around 9pm Sunday night (6/11/06), took a shower and found there was no hair dryer. Made a simple call to the front desk at 9:45 and the front desk insisted there was on in the room somewhere, I just needed to look harder. After another "thorough" search and confirmed with the front desk there is no dryer anywhere in the room, the respond was "I'll see what I can do." After waiting 45 minutes, my hair was still soaked wet and called again, the front desk staff Veronica told us, there is nothing she could do. The roomservice staffs has left at 10 and she was the only one in the Hotel. She couldn't leave the front desk to bring us a dryer. I offered to pick it up at the front desk, answer was no, there was none there. I offered go to another empty guess room to pick one up, the answer was no. I requested to change to another room that has a dryer, the answer was no. Before I finished render another solution, she said if I want I could call her supervisor and request to have more staffs manning the hotel at night and hung up on me. I was dumbfounded with that kind of respond/treatment and my husband went to the front desk to reason with her. She was busy laughing and joking with 3 other friends of hers at the front desk and ignored my husband. We spoke with the manager the next morning and got a bogus apology. I'll never go back to Hyatt again. Certainly not worth the money.

We had a georgeous room and bath; thoroughly enjoyed staying at Vineyard Creek. Great service in the on-site restaurant. Centrally located to all of Santa Rosa, we would definitely stay there again!
