The only thing i would suggest to you guys is making sure you book it online at SweetHotelDeals. N e t I did a bunch of searching for hotel prices, and that site seems to have the lowest prices all around

Waited 10 minutes for anyone to be at the front desk. On Hold 10 minutes for room service. After an hour had to cancel my order. Pretty much everyone has been in a big hurry and rude.

This hotel is wonderful. My wife and I have stayed here several times and each time they do a great job. This time we asked to move becuase our room smelled of smoke. We asked to be moved and they let us do so right away. They even let us check in several hours beforehand. They have complimentary drinks in the early evening, a complimentary cookie buffet at night, and a hot breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed. We stayed at this hotel the night of our company's Christmas party, which was held in the hotel's ballroom space. The hotel's common space seems smallish but is tastefully decorated: every inch of this place is beautiful. We LOVED our room - on a high floor with a stunning view of the city. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the bathroom's modern, clean, design is gorgeous. Overall, the boutiquish atmosphere made for a very cozy and romantic stay. We'd love to stay here again!

The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff is delightful and very helpful, the rooms are great, the roof top pool is breath taking (the hot tub could be warmer though), and the happy hour is a nice touch. The only downside to the hotel is the restraunt...the food is terrible.

When our family went there we asked a guy for parking it cost $24.00 but we discoverd right across the street parking only cost $6.00.We also went to eat breakfast and once we got back to our room the maid left THE DOOR OPEN! Everthing else was okay.

Basically a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn at a boutique price, great location if your in town to see the Astros play as we were. If you are a remote Astros fan coming to town for a weekend series be warned that a lot of visiting fans stay here and can make the stay much less pleasant (cubs, yankees, red sox, cardinals), also know that other than the bars there's nothing open downtown, especially Sunday morning. The hotel also frequently books out their bar area for weddings which makes the stay more like a Holiday Inn than an upscale boutique. The concierge desk was frequently not manned (50% of the time) and there were no extra pillows in the room. The rooms are nicely decorated and reasonably clean. Water pressure was not good on the 6th floor. The elevators are really slow, it took us more than 10 minutes to get from the 6th floor to the ground, mostly waiting for an elevator with enough room in it. The stair well does not have A/C so going up more than a couple of flights in the summer can make you want or need a shower by the time you get to your floor. Also be warned that if you take the stairs down you have to exit at the 2nd floor as the ground level doors are locked, this is not marked anywhere in the stair well and was quite disturbing the first time we ran into this, after giving up on the elevators. The best thing about the hotel was the location to Minute Maid ballpark, about 4 short blocks, even in the 80% humidity and 90+ heat wasn't too far.

I guess the experience was okay but nothing that I would pay top dollar for. Our first impression as we walked in? "Eh. Looks ok." The room was good. Granite countertops in the bathroom and entryway were the only thing that distinguished it from a Holiday Inn. The view of downtown was great. The pillows were too big and not fluffy. The towels were rough and worn. The shower was weak in pressure, and I swear I used half of a bottle of their shampoo just to make it lather up a little bit. The concierge knew some of downtown, but got a little confused when we asked him where we could go to have a good breakfast. And last, but not least, we stood in line for 45 minutes in the morning to get our car from the valet. And, their valet, we discovered, is actually them parking your car a block away in a $6/day lot, and they charge you over $25 to park it there. So in essence...we didn't have a BAD experience, but we certainly didn't get a 4 or 5 star experience either. If you're looking for comfort and extras, this might as well be a Motel 6.

What a romantic get away! We were so taken care of and the King room was a gem. The bathroom was just wonderful--the marble fixtures and the over-sized tub made time in the room very special. I am looking forward to another stay and have more fun downtown.
