very average
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/08
Not enough light in the rooms, the rooms are very small and in our case which was a 4 members family, it worked out pretty awful, because it seemed to be that everything in the room was for 2 people even though the hotel was notified about the reservation in advance and had enough time to prepare the room for 4 guests. I had to personally go and pick up from the front desk extra soap, shampoo and coffee that we had to have in our before our arrival. The pool is pretty small, nice gym though. The windows of our room were really small and all we could see is the wall of the same building. However everything was clean and my family enjoyed our time in Niagara Falls

Great Stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/18/08
Stayed there about this time last year. Great front desk staff. Arrived a few hours before check-in and they had a room available for us. Room was exactly as described on their website. No problems with the room, only complaint was that view was of an exterior wall. This was minor as I was spending more time on Clifton Hill than I was in the room.

Would Stay Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/07
My family and the inlaws stayed from July 1-3, 2007. Check in was quick. Rooms were nice but not for the price. They charged us $184 Canadian for both nights. However I was quoted on the phone when I made reservations, $156 and $178. Then they wouldn't correct it when we checked out. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of room to sit. Bit busy but we were there over the 4th of July. Towels in the bathrooms need replaced. They were rough and awful. I used beach towels to dry off with. Pull out sofabeds in the 2 room suites need replaced. They are not comfortable at all to sit on. Good Location right on Clifton Hill. Bit crowded when we were there but again it was over a holiday. Would stay again though.

poor customer service.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/06
The customer service at the front desk was not willing to make any arrangement to satisfy customer's need and request. She told us there is no other room avaliable for us to change at all. She was lying, after I called the yahoo travel agents and the holliday Inn's manager. They finally let me changed the room. What a joke for their promise to keep every customer satisfactory.

Great Family Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/05
I was quite happy with this hotel and it's attitude towards familys. The price was right and the entire family ( all 6 of us) fit nicely into one room. There were two beds and a pull out sofabed. The kids liked the pool and spent a lot of time there. We went in December and it was too cold to enjoy the outdoor attractions. We also attended the Greg Frewin Show and it was right next door to this hotel. Good time had by all and we will definetly return.

What a dump
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/01/05
The room was not clean, it smelled funny, the floor was wet, there were bugs in the room, and the dead-bolt lock was broken. All this for $200/night. I haven't seen my credit card statement yet.

They will Lie if you American!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/23/05
The hotel was clean, good location, somewhat friendly service and overall pretty good.... Until we checked out. I made reservation over the phone and was never sent a confirmation for price and dates. We stayed 9 days and got charged 2000$ U.s. dollars after being confirmed for 724.00 plus tax. Manger was not helpfull in resolving the matter and chrged the full amount on my $500 credit limit card after we told him to split it between two.... and with out my approval..... They also forged my name al three application of information, saying that i signed for the prices being charged. You should see how pothtic it looked! If you are going to stay here make sure you get you price confirmed... on paper... ohh and dont eat down stairs....very bad food. Im still fight the charges a yea later.
