Hotel Nikopolis Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki

Room was exceptionally stylish and clean. Turn down service was given on daily basis.The staff was very polite and friendly and the food served superb. Iam a frequent traveller and I consider myself quite experienced and demanding when it comes to hotels. This hotel is one of those that I would definately visit again without giving any second thought.

i like the minimalism of the design,the simplicity and the clearness of the rooms.At this hotel you could really rest!!!!!!Also i like the bathroom which was seperated from the rest of the room by glass.The room was big with nice corners to sit and rest.The service was great.And it was really quiet.

Overall, this is not what I expected from a Kempinski Hotel. The service staff was impolite and the cleaning ladies charge through the halls at 8am banging the carts against the walls and yelling to each other. Every day we had to complain to reception and open the door to tell them to shut up. The one positive was they did seem to clean well. Restaurant was another horrible experience with very average quality food at 5-star prices - better to get a taxi to Kalamaria or the center and eat at a proper restaurant. The piano bar is NOT heated so plan to wear your jacket while having a drink there in the cool months. Stay here if you need to be near the airport, but expect them to wake you up early whether you want to or not.
