Econo Lodge Airport, Atlanta

After the shuttle NEVER showing up at the airport, i finally bummed a ride off of another shuttle bus.......at 1:00am the check-in window is outside, creapy homeless people everywhere, the hotel staff didn't know which way was up..............YUCK YUCK YUCK......pay the extra $10 and book somewhere else. Hotels close to the airport Holiday Inn, Marriotts, Hyatts, Red Roof Inn, Clarion, Wesleyan Inn.......any other one but the Econo Lodge! DON'T DO IT!!!!!

There was a homeless woman standing outside the office the entire time we booked a room. When we got to the room,the sheets were dirty and there was a pubic hair on the soap dish in the shower. There were also about 4 people standing outside our door talking... at 2 am. I decided to let all of it slide, but when a cockroach bigger than an inch in side decided to come out from behind the headboard.. we left. NEVER AGAIN will I stay at ANY econolodge.

The room was not very clean. TV table was sticky at a side. Room did not have fresh air and I could control A/C. No internet access was at my room as well as others at all. The only place you can get internet service was in motel's lobby and you could not stay longer and late there because it was public area. However, the motel put" free internet" at their sign and internet. It is totally misleading. I booked three days and I only stayed one night and did not want to stay longer.It's a bad experience.

I mistakenly left my cell phone in the non-smoking room. Which by the way still smelled like smoke because the room next door was smoking room. I was on my way home to California and requested for them to send my phone. I contacted the hotel and the receptionist immediately informed me to come back to hotel to come pick it up. Which was litteraly impossible for me to do when I am across the country. Long story short after speaking to the Manager, Christopher, who by the way is just as incompetent as his employees, I made arrangements to have the phone picked up via FEDEX. After reviewing the address with his ass three times, he still got it wrong I ended going to the FEDex station and an hour for the to search for the package by name. IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME DEAL WITH SUCH HORRIBLE SERIVCE

I reserved a room only to find out when I got there they overbooked about 10 rooms!!! What's the point! Waste of time and energy...spend the extra money if you have to!!!
