Comfort Inn and Suites San Francisco Airport West, San Bruno

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The location just off Hwy 101 across from airport (A+). The staff friendly and attentive (A). Smoking rooms are on the top floor and non-smoking rooms are on lower level. I needed a non-smoking room and this hotel delivered. There is an atrium on the lower level open to the top floor with a huge sky light above. The atrium is set up with chairs and sofas. View: There is none to speak of except the street below.(C). Breakfast: fruit, juice, pastries, toast, coffee/tea & cook your own waffles. Just remember to bring the tray from your room if you want to eat upstairs (A). I had a King Suite which included a mini-frig, m/w, bar sink set-up in the entry hall. Then you turn the corner and the room was furnished with a loveseat, coffee table, dining table & chairs, modernately comfortable king bed, full size desk, two nightstands and Armoire with TV and drawers for clothing. (A+). Internet: Free wireless internet. However, it is not a secure connection. (B+). The TV selection is incomparable to any I have experienced and I have spent the last 3 years in hotels. There are 80+ digital stations. The set-up is similar to Tivo/DVR so you can search for programming, read program descriptions and search for future programs. (A+). The closet is on the small side but functional. Bathroom: the basic set-up with a huge bonus - there is a jacuzzi tub. BIG BIG PLUS. (A+++). Price: I believe I got a great deal at $80 a night. I already have plans to stay here again when in the area. As I waited to check-in the (2) professionals ahead of me had stayed here before and are repeat customers. I know why! T

We needed a hotel close to the airport and found this one to be just about perfect! The service was great; the building was clean and quiet. Will definitely stay there again, when in SF.
