I just completed a four day business trip to Menomonie and stayed at the Country Inn. The motel was well run and fully accomodated my needs. I particularly appreciated the excellent internet service. The breakfast was complete and the whirlpool was a delight. All of the staff seemed to work well and created a comfortable envirenment. I would highly recommend this motel for the business traveler.

We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding--along with the wedding party and most of the relatives. We could not have been happier with the friendly service, spacious and beautiful suites, and even extended time in our room to open wedding gifts. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We look forward to visiting them again!

If customer service is important to you, don't stay at this hotel! My husband and I stayed here in early May, 2006. We had reserved a suite for a Saturday and Sunday night as we were meeting our grandkids in Menomonie for a visit and they were to stay with us on Saturday night. We arrived at the hotel on Friday night and requested a regular room as we did not need the extra room until Saturday night. The desk clerk told us it would be "too confusing" to book us in a regular room on Friday and then transfer us to our suite on Saturday night so she booked us into the suite. Also, when I had booked the reservation early in April, I was told that the suite would be $107 for the first night and $97 for the second night. We were charged $107 for each of the three nights. When I protested in the survey they sent me after our stay, I was told that they would adjust our bill. It is now almost two months later and nothing has been done after contacting them twice more. Also, on Saturday morning during our stay, I stopped at the front desk to remind them that we would need a rollaway bed for Saturday night and some extra linens. No one was at the desk so I went back to our room and called the desk. When I told them we needed the extra towels, I was told "well, you'll have to come and get them." They did deliver the rollaway bed on Saturday morning. My husband moved it into the hall on Sunday morning since we were done with it. When we checked out, they had charged us for the rollaway bed for three nights. They did correct that part of our bill but I felt like they didn't believe that we had only used the bed one night. Never mind that it was not delivered until Saturday morning and my husband moved it into the hall on Sunday morning! The facilities were nice enough and they did have a pretty good complimentary breakfast but their staff needs a lot of training in how to treat their guests. Needless to say, they have lost my husband and I as customers, not only at this hotel but at their hotels in any other location.
