Not for Joe Public
This is not a regular hotel for the public at large. This is a "work-camp" hotel (more like a dorm) for visiting scientists and other workers. I stayed there as a scientist - it was comfortable, clean and had everything I would look for as a scientist staying for two months of intense fieldwork - a comfortable bed, heat, communal showers and laundry. It also has high speed wireless internet, phone and tv (with cable) - and Dario, who runs the place, is awesome - he takes good care of us. (daily 'hotel style' cleaning) Being a dorm like setting, and living 'hard-core' in the arctic tundra, I felt too strange being taken care of, so I let him know that I could make my own bed, take out my trash and wash my linens.
