Stayed for a couple of nights over Labor Day Weekend. Room was clean, but right next to the main road into the park. Thanks to the then walls we were treated to the sound of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and the breathing of the people in the room next to us. Shower was almost large enough to turn around in. There is no TV and no phone because there isn't enough room. They make a point of not having Internet access, yet I found 5 access points available but requiring user name and password!
The good part - cleaning staff did a good job. Very convenient to the park. Restaurant across the parking lot was great.
clean,comfortable,walls are thin though,
at the lake front, parking out front,
walk to everywhere, restaurant next door,
shops on either side, boat rentals nearby, busy during daytime with traffic passing thru but very quiet at night
National Historic Landmark Hotel at the Gateway to Glacier National Park. Beautifully decorated with original art, crafts and period furniture.
Enjoy continental breakfast and dinner. Gather around the fireplace in the Taproom for a nightcap. See the spectacular sunsets ...
