Carol's Tyee Motel, Neah Bay

I hope and pray I do not find a huge spider. I live there because I am homeless on my own Rez. I clean my own place and take care of my bedding and towels. Each place I have camped in I have made my home because I do not have a choice. The Cedar Shack for mochas-Big Salmon for a good breakfast and eagles chirping in the morning. Yes-there's one or two outlets and a sloping deck. But the stove works and my dishes are clean and sparkly. Life is what you make it. I check every place I go to for rats and spiders. Then my Sister and I crub it clean as well as wash the bedding. That's me-that's how I feel comfortable-even in a 4 Star motel.

Sounds like all the other reviews were pretty accurate and this is the cover-up.

first off, i came at about 11pm. had a number to call, waited 15mins for someone to show up. only take cash. room was freezing, had to turn heat on. fridge cord was cut, no soap in the bathroom. no tv channels. the door to the room had a 1/4inch gap which didnt help the heat any. they dont vacuum the room and the floor in front of my room was rotten. i paid $80 a night. GO TO HOBUNK COTTAGES 2 MILES DOWN THE ROAD. Ok now the good, it was right across the street from the boat launch.

If you are dead drunk, then it would be a fine place to stay, because that is the only way you would be able to stay there. The stairs going up to room 18 are wobbly, the porch area is crooked leans to the right and it is soft feels like you are going to fall right through, The first thing that my husband did when we arrived was kill the biggest spider you have ever seen, There was no soap in the soap dispenser, the bed spreads were dirty, God only knows with what, The dishes in the cupboard were dirty, greasy and needed to be thrown away, We did not pay for this room, our friend who invited us down to Mckah Days paid ahead for the room and then she did not even get the room for us she originally asked and paid for. I sure hope she gets her money back, so, i do not know how much she was charged for this room. This hotel needs to be condemned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If by chance you still want to stay there then at least take some raid and lysol with you, along with your own sheets,blankets, and pillows.

cruddy, rather sleep in my fish box it smells better.
