Dakota Farms Inn, Beulah

We checked in at 8 P.M. went to the room and found the door open and the room hadn't been cleaned yet. We were greeted by 2 housekeepers that looked like part time prostitutes. There was a moldy sandwich in the fridge. Only 2 lights worked in the room and when we called the front desk, they told us they had made a maintenance request and they would be changed the NEXT DAY! The T.V. had 2 settings, mute and deafening. It was bad...very...very...very BAD. I wonder what the suicide rate is there? NO JOKE.

By far the worst place i have ever stayed, They don't change the sheets just flip them over, they do make the beds everyday, but if you leave anything on the bed just pull back the covers and it will still be there, Had a key problem front desk to lazy to tell owners about it went 5 days with out a key ( that i missplaced) Had to keep going to the front desk to get a maids key. If the owners replace the help maids and older front desk lady wouldn't be so bad. Now the GOOD when the owners found out the problems she jumped right on it to correct it,

Where do I start? The place stinks like stale cigarette smoke. The noise from the lobby can be heard from everywhere on the 2nd floor. The towels are gray, tattered and disgusting. The room needs a paint job and the light shades are falling apart. After I checked in, I pulled back the sheets and my bed had hair all over it. The pillows needed to be replaced. The light in the bathroom was missing its exterior cover and I could not find the switch for the exhaust fan. I really did like using a key again, and did get a large functional refrigerator. The donuts at the continental breakfast looked like they had been sitting around for awhile. Thank god for Jimmy's Pizza and Alibis Lounge next door. It was disgusting! Hey Beulah, build another chain motel!

The bartender and wait staff are awesome. Most are very good looking so that makes that visit more pleasant. The blackjack is first class; just like Vegas! They also have great rooms that are very clean and cozy! Highly recommended.

When you stay at a place the is 1/2 the price of the "fancy-pants" hotel chain up the street, what do you expect? The Hilton it is not. However, The Dakota Farms Inn is a family run, efficient establishment. I stayed for over 2 months on this last business trip and was very pleased with how friendly and accommodating the staff was. You could not ask for more convenience while away from home. There is a pizza place called "Jimmy's" in the same building that is just excellent and there is also a bar, "Alibis", for those that enjoy those things. If you want fancy linens and a cushy atmosphere, stay at the other place. If you want a room to stay in at a convenient location, Dakota Farms Inn is for you. :) If I ever make it back to Beulah, ND I will be staying at the Dakota Farms Inn! Thanks Again!

this place is horrible!!! First, most all the towles and washclotes have black stains. they are to lazy to use bleach i guess. Looks like someone washed there engine with them. 2nd, I got terribly sick from some kind of mildew or air stuff coming out of the heater vent. 3rd, the breakfast is absolutely ridiculous, the muffins are the size of a grape, the coffee taste like toilet water. 4th, its roudy as heck, people from gambling and drinking late from the bar that is attached are rude and inconsiderate. I heard people 3:00 in the morning pounding on doors. the people in general staying there from what I observed looked like street people or criminals. 5th,I wanted a fridge since I was staying for 1 month on business, the lady at the front desk started going into rooms basically without asking and she told me "i love pissing people off" I absolutely dont recomend this place stay at the americanINN a block away!!
