Chalet Motel, Cle Elum

Owner/operator Mike was on his cell phone talking while I stood there waiting to check in, He was not a friendly man argued with me when I told him of the problems with my room, also walked into my room without knocking after I came back from my meeting. after that, for my own safety I decided to go stay with one of my coworkers. I went back the next morning to check out however he was gone with no message in window as to when he would be back. List of problems: Windows did not lock, no hot water, coffee maker was broken and dirty, the boxsprings were broken, sheets so thin you could see the mattress they were also stained, no plugs in bathroom, no phone in room , chairs in room were broken and had missing wood pieces, very small older TV, no alarm clock, air condition/heater did not work well also was missing knobs to turn on and adjust, no closet nor any place to hang clothes and no place to put suitcases, very old microwave. this place was a nightmare…Who ever rated this place excellent had to be the owner and his friends…Don’t be fooled, it really is a rundown unsafe place to stay at…I would rather sleep in my car, I would feel safer and would be more comfortable!!!

If you want Hilton, breakfast in bed, and silk sheets forget this place. But if you want clean and comfortable they have it. I require a place to sleep and relax when on the road and Chalet Motel was that place, although it is an older property it does the job just fine. There was not a "mini bar" or spa but there was everything that was needed plus a friendly manager. Next time I am in the area and need a room I will be stopping here.

I will never go to this motel again. The new management has a tough job ahead. The owner of this hotel needs to sell this cute little motel to someone who will appreciate it and bring it up to todays hotel/motel standards. and beware owner goes into rooms without notice.

This place is a joke, management was nice and friendly, not their fault, just the motel has pasted is time and needs to be torn down. It is a awful place and has alot of undesireables, that stay there. Lot of late night activity going on. Walls real thin could hear everything that was going on. Maybe a place to send your worse enemy. Owner rips people off, badly. You sure would not want to take your children or wife there. Just being frank and telling the truth, don't believe me then go and see for yourself. It is most assurely our last visit.

New linens, beds and redone everything. Cleanliness is on top of the priority list again. New Management is the best. On site to monitor movements at all times. Come on back ya'all!

I was at the Chalet this summer, I just left CleElum on the 20th. I went to the Chalet Motel........It was the most horriable site that I seen when I walked into the office. Where is The other manager that cleaned this dump up, It looks like the dump again when I walked into the office and seen such a scarey site......Halloween look alikes..What a shame......Do not go to the Chalet....It is a dump, the manager matches the dump
