I won't go back

My husband and I stayed at this motel last night and although the rooms were fine, customer service was horrible. Colleen was the front desk person, looked basically asleep when we arrived. When we went to our room I tried to call her four or five times and no answer. When I came down about 15 minutes later, she was in the lobby area sitting at a table, again looking like she was sleeping. The gray haired gentleman was behind the desk when we returned that night, and I thought we might have been invisible. I was having a hard time sleeping, went down to use the computer, asked about late checkout knowing my husband would be leaving to play golf in the morning and I would be able to sleep for a couple more hours. I believe this gray haired man is the owner and said, sorry, no, not even offering up information that was given to me about 11:00 am on this day. I needed to have a couple more hours of sleep, and at 11:00 am, a new woman behind the front desk called my room, asking when I would be leaving. I shared with her that I needed to try and get some more sleep, and would need to check out at around 1:00 p.m. She didn't sound too pleased and said that the owners would charge me for another half day. This is in Cle Elum, Washington, a not too exciting town, parking lot had probably a half dozen cars, and I said to her just charge me, because I needed more sleep. Once again, I received the call at 1:00 p.m. asking me to move out basically. I have stayed in some extremely nice hotels throughout my life, and have asked for late departures, knowingly aware that there was a possibility of not being able to do same. And, they would never charge me another half day for an extra two hours. There you have it, and aren't you glad you asked. This motel has a rate of $69.00 per night.
