Crystal Mountain Hotel, Enumclaw

We booked right after Thanksgiving 09 and were super excited. We skied all day and then checked into our hotel at Crystal Mountain hotels. We were super disappointed when we got into our $250 per night room. I've literally stayed in Army barracks that were nicer. Run down rooms with wool blankets and old furniture. The facility was close to the slopes, but after seeing what we got with the non-refundable $250 (I see why it’s non-refundable) we just showered and drove home 2 hours tired. When we checked out, the counter clerk just shrugged and said OK, so I think this happens more often than not. To top it all off, we even got some erroneous charge for another $20 on my card. So, for $270, you get one night in a run down hotel that looks like soviet era billeting and a staff that knows they are gaffing and spearing their customers hoping the word doesn't get out. We will find another ski area to stay at or just use Crystal Mountain as a day trip.
