Such a deal!
This is a good, old-fashioned motel, with parking right in front of your room and a picnic table nearby. It's not far off Interstate 94, only a few blocks to downtown Jamestown, with a Dairy Queen right across the street and other restaurants and shopping close by.
We spent five nights there while in Jamestown for a funeral in May 2006, and felt like part of the family by the time we left. The staff encouraged us to ask for anything we needed. They assisted me when I locked my keys in the car. They made fresh coffee for us - even in the middle of the day.
The room we were in was clean, had two comfortable queen-sized beds, and the pillows were extraordinarily comfortable - not your usual type of sponge rubber, but a type where the pillow slowly returns to its original shape when you take your head off of it. There was a small fridge and a microwave oven, cable TV, and free local phone calls.
The price for all this? About $42 a night! I couldn't believe it was so reasonable. We definitely will stay there the next time we're in Jamestown.
