Star Lite Motel, Jamestown

After staying @ the starlite My Wife & I Could'nt Understand why anybody would. Total Nightmare! The owners are Nice over the phone till they get your credit card #, then just rude & controlling after we got there.. They totally charge way to much.$ 89.95 plus hotel tax.They Told us there were no rooms available within a 100 miles. Total lie! We went to town & in a half mile from the hotel there were rooms for half the price in nicer hotels. The room are so small,Dirty,outdated,cluttered with mismatched broken furnature & stinky linens,Its a total crack shack.Just Save yourself the hassel.we Found out there are 9 hotels at the next exit on I-94 that is 1 1/2 miles from this dump!

My daughter and I came to Jamestown for the volletball clinic at the college and needed a motel to stay in while we were there for the week! The motel room was small but very clean and the beds were very comfortable! Dick went out of his way to give us directions and a map to help us not get lost! He gave us his cell number and told us to call him if we needed help with directions! There was alot of construction and travel through town was a little tricky! We will definately be back again next summer!!!

The owner and his wife are warm friendly people who bent over backwards to accomadate us. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. We are duck hunters and Dick the owner went out of his way to help us have a good hunt. I would give this motel five stars for service and hospitality. We will make a point of staying here when ever we are in the area.

The guy who runs this place is as nice as can be when you are calling to ask questions or reserve the room, but don't be fooled. He quoted us one price and then charged us a higher daily rate when we checked out. He also told us repeatedly that it would not be a problem if we decided to leave one day early. When we left a day early he charged us an additional fee per day for each room to make up the difference! The room was full of bugs and not very clean. Avoid this hotel-there are lots of other ones in the Jamestown area. We'll never go back here.
