Seagull Bay Motel, Bayfield

What an awesome place! The view is SPECTACULAR! Very comfortable accommodations, great showers, plus microwave and fridge. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Bayfield area. The rates are MORE than fair, and again, the view is GORGEOUS!!! Also? Great path into downtown Bayfield. Couldn't be more convenient!

We have been coming here for 15 years. The view is so beautiful and relaxing in a small town atmosphere. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms and grounds are very clean. We highly recommend the hotel.

This is a nice motel for one's stay if you are interested in the Apostle Islands. No a/c but not needed. Friendly people, but not open until 8 am in the morning, so if you want to leave early let them know.

Bayfield is a wonderful town, and Seagull Bay Motel is the best place to stay in it, with clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly service. The view of Lake Superior is just gorgeous. It only takes about 3 minutes to get downtown by car, or 3 to 5 minutes by the walking path. I have stayed here many times since about 1985, and have never had a less-than-wonderful experience.

We are so glad we booked at this motel! We had no idea what it would be like....many places say lake view and when you get there it is 4 blocks up and through the trees that you can see water! Not here! It was wonderful. Beautiful views! We can hardly wait to see the views during all 4 seasons. I no longer have to search for another place to stay when we go to Bayfield. This is the perfect place! No complaints at all! We had a bed, shower/tub, microwave and fridge. What more do you need?! We ate 90% of our meals in our room, we loved where we were staying. The days we did go sightseeing it was always our beautiful view from our quiet motel room that we looked forward to! Great place with a great price!

I have made the trip to Bayfield, Wisconsin every year for the past five, as a birthday treat for myself. The Seagull Bay Motel is a part of what makes this yearly sojourn so special. Not only is it clean, friendly and NON-SMOKING, but the views are nothing short of spectacular. The rates are shockingly reasonable, and the motel is very close to wonderful restaurants, shops and the ferry boat to Madeline Island. I was very pleased to see that they have recently added wireless internet. I'll be back again, and again and again!
