Winfield Inn, Bayfield

What a wonderful stay at the Winfield. Our first contact was by phone and the helpful info by the staff was terrific as to the local attractions and sights. We booked a condo over looking the lake.....this is a MUST! Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We are looking forward to our next stay!

When we arrived we found our pillows were without cases but that was amicably and efficiently corrected. The rest of our stay was just perfect. We loved the coziness of the rooms with all it's little homey touches. We spent hours of our stay in Bayfield just enjoying the view of the marvelous gardens and Lake Superior from our balcony. I didn't want to leave and I'm definitely going back there as soon as I can. A visitor from Waupaca, WI

The setting for stonebridge is wonderful, set back from the non busy road and large deck overlooking the woods is magnificent. Wonderfully equipped kitchen for cooking, and lovely full-wall stone fireplace in the living room and firepit outside made it really special. The dark brown 70's look inside could stand to be brightened up and the home needed to be cleaned better; dirty carpeting, and mouse droppings in the drawers. Otherwise, a nice home. Great location to hike and just a short walk down the road and half way down Apple Lane and a beautiful view of the Lake!!

OUR ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN---HAD TO WALK ON THE HIGHWAY TO GET INTO TOWN AND THE RAILING WAS SO LOOSE THAT WE WERE AFRAID IT WOULD FALL OFF---THE VIEW AND THE FLOWERS AARE WONDERFUL
