Seagull's Nest Motel, Westport

I have been staying here for years. They have the most comfortable highend mattresses.

It has always been a nice place to stay. I have never had to worry about anyone being nosey. I guess if you are trying to scam people into your room for free you might encounter a situation but being upfront about how many people are staying is the best business practice. If your looking for a nice place at a desent rate this place is good.

Only needed the room for one night to sleep for the westport surf contests. The owner and his wife were more than nosy. Called the room 2 seconds after walking in the room telling us we can't have our friends in the room? As soon as we returned from the competition the manager barges into our room telling us to leave. He actually pushed me, physical contact, after he demanded our keys and I tossed the key to him. Most rediculous hotel experience of my life. I will never go back there and I hope no one else does either..

I have stayed at seagullsnest about 4 times , the location is great for most of your needs , very freindly not nosey.spacous rooms , vary helpfull if you need anything. Some people dont need to be rude about a Good place to stay. going back .I recomend it.

The motel was recently renovated and remodeled...and looks great! Rooms are clean and close to beaches, restaurants, stores, and the fishing docks. Beds are comfortable. A quiet and charming place...which reminds me of the "Mom & Pop" motels we stayed in during family vacations in Westport when I was a child. Very friendly and nice owners, too! We had a wonderful time!

We wanted to stay for the 4th of july we cant afford to take an extra day off and they only rent rooms on this particular holiday for 2 days not 1. what happened to being able to take the kids out to the beach for a day...those days are gone he didn't need to be so damned rude about it on the phone!

They claim they have the cleanest rooms, I am not sure who's standards they are using. Everything is old and old smelling! The owner is VERY nosey and thinks he owns the town of Westport!! The owner is weird to say the least!
