Hartfiel Inn European Bed & Breakfast, Dickinson

I had the privilege of staying at the Hartfiel Inn several times during the fall of 2008.  Quita and Rick were so welcoming and accommodating, I felt completely at home in the Inn. As a female, traveling alone, I felt safe and pampered and part of the family. Around the breakfast table, I met several guests whose stories will stay with me forever, like the private pilot that is a Vietnam vet and the couple celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary. I loved the comfort of the home -- antiques and comfy leather sofas to snuggle into, jewlery shop on the premises -- shopping!!! I highly recommend the Hartfiel Inn and hope that my travels will take me back to North Dakota sometime soon.

The rooms were lovely, the service was timely and friendly, and the food was delicious. The setting was lush (this is No Dak!) and very attractive.

Tis like staying with relatives who you actually like! Breakfast out on the back porch was delightful. Rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and perhaps a bit smaller than in a motel.
