Washburn Motel, Washburn

This is the best little place for a private romantic get away!! It's close to the water, there is food and drink right next door it's cozy and warm. We have been going for years just to leave the busy life behind. We will continue to go!!!

This cabin was a true disappointment! The space was small, not child proof, and had a horrid smell. The beds were uncomfortable and the water was not regulated. We dreaded returning to the cabin after our day excursions, and even thought about forfeiting our second nights pay. I would not recommend this motel - my husband has stayed in nicer fish houses than this cabin! Don't waste your money!

These are wonderful cabins, my husband and I stayed in one in July 2006 while doing work in Bayfield on a Yacht. The look ruff on the outside but what a gem on the inside. Very clean, comfortable and homey. We are planning on going this summer or early fall for a mini vacation. Hope that the cabin is available once again. Great value for the money.
