Good value for the money

Great value for the money. $44 mid week and $54 on the weekends. Surprising to find a facility like this out in the middle of nowhere in the Northwoods. Very nice staff throughout--lodge, restaurant and casino. The rooms were basic, but clean on arrival. Beds were moderately comfortable. Surprisingly quiet. Casino isn't huge, but a lot of fun! Free-play incentives and restaurant coupons with the rooms were an added bonus, making the stay even more economical. Restaurant has a very good breakfast.
We stayed for two nights, and the only negative is that the room wasn't cleaned as well between nights. We got clean towels, but the bed covers were just raised, but the bed wasn't made, and the room wasn't picked up very well. But since it was just our stuff, it was ok....and for the price, still a bargain.
We traveled to Ashland, Bayfield and Copper Falls State Park during the day, and used this hotel as a great overnight spot. And the casino made for great evening entertainment. Even came out a little bit ahead!
Recommended lodge.
