Alger Falls Motel, Munising

The room was clean, had both a frig and micro wave. Off the highway but when we closed the window it was quiet at night. A good value. The toilet was loud but that was our only complaint.

We thoroughly enjoyed our accomodations at the Alger Falls Motel. The room was clean and nicely equipped with a TV, microwave, and small refrigerator. The bathroom was obviously just remodeled with new tub/shower and lavatory. The staff gave us excellent tips about Munising area attractions, restaurants, and roads. We would certainly stay there again! Road noise could not be avoided because Munising is a small unspoiled gem...

The curtains were made from towels, comforter was faded and had holes from cigarette burns. The owner smoked and it came through the walls so we could smell it. Toilet flushed very violently so much you thought it would suck you in. Shower was very low pressure and little water. Very noisy due to all the big trucks down shifting right outside on the main highway out of town. Could hear everything through the thin walls, and bed was very creaky. Did provide microwave and climate control. No problem with the toilet not flushing anything you put in it.
