Coastal Cottages of Ocean Park, Ocean Park

We booked all 4 cabins for our daughter's wedding and a family reunion. The cottages were squeaky clean and the owners took care of us like we were family. This has definitely become our spot when we travel to the Longbeach peninsula. Can't wait to go back!

Had a pleasant weekend here. Owners were very helpful. Has a vintage charm not found much anymore. My guess those who are dissapointed are expecting 4 star accomadations. Be prepared for spotless and a bit unconventional and you'll be fine. The kitchenette is a big plus. Looking forward to our next visit.

We loved the setting of the cottages - so very peaceful and quiet. We were welcomed with a full plate of home-made chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal cookies! The owners are very friendly and were more than willing to help set up anything for our stay of we needed help. And Tracker (their Golden Retriever) was an instant hit and well mannered. Okay, Ripley and Riley were right up there also. I also want to say I appreciated the other people staying there - everyone respected the other guests and no one was up late or noisy. We found our cabin clean. Yes they are vintage cabins, so one needs to expect that the showers might be old, but I saw no signs of mold and the linens were freshly washed and neatly folded.

We came here with our families for a reunion. We found the cottages to be spotless clean, and decorated so cute! We were able to bring our dogs, and they had fun too! The owners were so nice and warm ,they felt like family too. We will be back again next year, and rent all 4 cottages! thanks

We loved this little place. Unlike one of the reviews, we found our cottages(we rented 2 of them) to be clean and comfy. The owners were friendly and so helpful. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, come back and have a fire all to ourselves. We will bring our family again!

Much like big disappointment our cabin was dirty, the shower was beyond words, mold, rust my husband and I would not use it. The worst part was the bed was not even a full size, if 5 1/2 feet long, my husbands 6ft, do the math. I've tried to call her but am not getting an answer. We left the next morning, after little sleep. I would never think about going back, led to a much needed weekend away, turned bad.

My grandmother and I were very excited to stay at these cabins which looked cute and had great reviews. When we arrived, the owner was very nice, we dropped off our bags and quickly headed off to visit family we have in town. It wasn't until we got back at 9:00 at night that we really got a chance to look around and realized that the bathroom and bedroom were filthy, they had obviously not been cleaned after the last visitors had left and they had obviously had dogs. Since it was late we decided to stick it out and leave in the morning, we couldn't stay another night and we definitely wouldn't shower in a dirty shower. I brought this to the attention of the owner early the next morning. She was very apologetic and explained she had been sick and her cleaning lady had not done her job. She promised to reimburse me and give me a free nights stay if I returned which was fine with me I told her I understood her situation and was sorry and thanked her. When I returned home I checked my bank account and realized that she had not reimbursed me yet and so I gave her a few days remembering that she said she had been sick. However, it has been over a month now and she has not reimbursed me yet and refuses to return my calls. I was considering giving her another chance next time I was in town but, obviously not now. My advice if you are planning on staying there is to thoroughly check the cleanliness of your cabin upon arrival and if it is dirty and you choose to stay somewhere else, good luck getting your money back.

I needed a place to work on my scrapbooking and the Coastal Cottages was the perfect place. The owner provided our group with tables to do our work on and a clean quiet place to get tons of pages done. Since we had a full kitchen we had everything we needed to have a very successfully weekend. I would recommend the Coastal Cottages to anybody that would like to get away and do some serious scrapping. Also the muffins are to die for...

We had a delightful visit from North Carolina. The muffins were so delish we asked for more!! The fire pit was an added bonus to our vacation expirence. Just a few blocks from the beach we walked there evry night. The cottage we stayed in was nice and clean, and my husband and I loved the "vintage" feel it had. The price was affordabe too. We will be back!!

We loved staying here!! Such a quaint little place. The owner and her husband are so nice and friendly. The cranberry muffins are to die for! Great prices too! we will make this our place to go at the beach for years to come!!
