Really Great Place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/11/11
It had been a few years since we had been at McQuoid's. The original owner Terry McQuoid had sold the business, and we weren't very satisfied with the new ownership, but he took it back in 2008 so we decided to return and the place is great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to give us lots of fun ideas for things to do in the area. Father Hennepin State Park is just down the road and has lots of hiking trails and a great beach. The location is great - less than a mile outside of town, and the property is modern and clean. One of the nicest places on MIlle Lacs Lake lake by far. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Their condos are perfect for family groups and the log interiors are beautiful! Their prices fit our budget too! We will surely be back in the future!!!!

Great Place to Stay!
By Yahoo Contributor, 7/26/10
Our first stay at McQuoid's Inn was a wonderful experience. The staff was super friendly and very helpful in every aspect of our stay and made it felt like home. The room was super clean and the AC was super cold which was really nice. Although they didn't have a boat ramp, the public ramp was only a few hundred feet away which was very convenient. The kids really enjoyed the continental breakfast. Overall, a great and convenient place to stay! Highly recommended!

Great Winter and Summer Destination
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/3/08
I have been a customer of McQuoid’s Inn since 2000. The service and accommodations has always been top shelf. Unfortunately the past few years have been sub par for McQuoid’s standards. Come to find out during this time frame McQuoid’s Inn was being leased by another person. Well Terry McQuoid has been back in charge since early this year and the other person is no longer involved. My last visit in August of 2008 showed me that Terry has made significant updates and guests can now expect the same high quality of service as was provided prior to being leased from Terry. I would bet the farm that you will not have any issues with this destination now that Terry McQuoid has taken the operation back over.

pontoon from the 60's
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/9/07
We made a reservation for a pontoon boat at McQuoid's/Angler's Paradise on Mille Lac. When we arrived, it was the junkiest pontoon boat I have ever seen. The seat cushions were ripped. It was rusty and ancient looking. The guy was working on the motor, which was not working. As it turned out, it was good the motor did not work, as we found a beautiful pontoon for rent for just $15 more an hour away at Bertha's Boatworks in Pequot Lakes. The rental could be kept til 8am the next morning. We enjoyed this luxurious rental with a radio and CD player with night lights on the large Whitefish Chain of lake all day and star gazing into the night.

Poor Service Unresponsive
By Johnny P, 1/29/07
We booked a cabin and an 8 person ice fish house for the weekend for our large group. The cabin itself was fine, however they did not deliver the size fish house we had requested, and then they refused to move us to a larger fish house. Dale, the GM, gave the larger fish house to his buddies who were up for one of the 2 days that we had reserved. Also, the local fisherman instructed us to go to deeper water if we wanted to catch fish. Dale promised to move the fish house, however he did not deliver on his promise, and instead came up with endless excuses (too many drunks on the lake, too windy, etc.) After 2 days of cramming 8 guys into a 4 person fish house, we had only one fish...a 3" perch. While guys in deeper water were pulling in lots of fish.
