Horrible Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/09
I attended awedding recption there this past weekend & I have NEVER sen a reception hall treat guests so badly! The food was simply adequete and the owner/managers - Laura & Jeff were rude, surly and lazy. Instead of clearing the tables used for appitizers from the dance floor, they were shaoved together against a wall until the bride's mother insisted they be cleared. The wedding cake was left out on display instead of being served with the sheet cakes. The absolute worst was that at about 8:45pm, she tried to start breaking down the main dining room while everyone was on the dance floor. When the bride's mother told her to stop, and leave the table linens & decorations on the table & reminded her that she had contracted for the room until midnight, this woman turned into Uber-bi*^! & stormed off. The bathrooms were not checked during the evening, so the small garbage can was overflowing by 9:30 and when the manager returned at around 11pm (in sweats) they just started tearing apart the place without talking to the bride's parents. It appearred like she directed her staff to just throw any decoration not owned by the resort in a pile on the floor. She moved personal belongings of guests(jackets, shoes, purses, bouquets, cameras) and dumped them all together on 1 table without asking and all indications that a wedding reception was going on had been removed before the band stopped playing - including the fvors that were left out for the guests to take as they were leaving. The staff was very good - friendly & accommodating & they only time they did anything inappropriate was when they were directed to by the Uber-bi*^! She stomped around all night like the wedding was a major imposition. If this is how they treat teir regular guest (who were not informed that the dining room was closed for a wedding reception, and kept wandering in in shorts & bathing suits)then I say stay away from this place. There are plenty of resorts in the area and you bee much better off at someplace like Coon's Franklin Inn or the Chanticleer Inn.

Great Family Fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/09
Our family has enjoyed the "good life" at Eagle Waters for eight seasons and we can't wait to come back to the campfires, great food and wonderful views of Eagle Lake. The in ground heated pool has been a huge draw with our four boys over the years and you won't find another setting with incredible lakefront views. The owners love what they do and the staff are always ready to serve your needs. The best prices and amenities make EWR the best north woods experience!

the best place in the northwoods
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/08
The accomodations were exceptional. The condo units were very upscale. The views from the condo's were spectacular. The pool was great. My teens enjoyed the pool, tennis, and volleyball. The dining room was great food definitely 5 star. The lounge area had plenty of games to keep teens busy. Also has a game room. Outside bar offers entertainment the best deal in northern wisconsin

Eagle Water's Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/06
Absolutely Disgusting! Hot water was scaulding and showers would not maintain temperature. Cold-scaulding-cold-scaulding. Water would literally burn your skin. Window panes falling out. Mold all over showers. Wear shoes in building. Floors disgusting. Over-priced. For that price, stay in a 4 star hotel. Staff was nice.
