Pitlik's Sand Beach Resort, Eagle River

We stayed here for New Years Weekend. The staff was SUPER and the cottage was wonderful, very clean and homey. Would stay here again.

The vaccum is as useful as throwing sand into the corners of the room;no or little updates to the most deluxe lodge they rent; fridge leaked consistantly and appliances were old and work as such. Cottage may need cleaning when you arrive; kitchen utensils are not fit for human use; We bought coffee cups/ utensils/ lightbulbs to aide the stay A bartender gave us the keys on arrival with no welcome information and we had trouble contacting the resort to pay our bill. Good location but horrible managed property. Do not get the shrip or pan fish to eay without a tetnus shot.

They do not provide towels or soaps. They have old outdated appliances in their cabins. You pay an arm and a leg, you'd expect at least SOMETHING nice. They charge you over $1500 for 1 week and all you get is a roof over your head. We had a problem with a gas line and had to be moved from one cabin to another. The managment was not very responsive to our needs. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!!!
