Waves Ocean Front Motel, Cannon Beach

I love "The Waves"! Centrally located and with wonderful views, The Waves has never dissapointed me. Whether I make reservations in advance or just take pot luck when I arrive on a stormy Friday night The Waves has always has clean, comfortable accomodations. we have stayed in the "town house" and "the contemporary" as well as in the actual motel portion of "The Waves" and have always had a great experience. Last summer we had 5 days in a 2 bedroom at the waves and the people next to us had been planning their trip to Cannon Beach for a year. It struck me that we are so lucky to live where we do where such a trip can be a spur of the moment decision and every weekend can be a vacation!
