Brown Moose Motel, Jackman

The owner's were very friendly and accommodating. I made reservations and did not arrive until around 2:00am but that was no problem for us. Room was very clean. It was the first time I stayed there and will most definitely be back in 2012!

This palce was very clean. I called ahead and told them that we would be arriving after mid-night, they told me that it was not a problem and sure enough they responded quickly and issued our room keys. The room very clean. There is a bar adjacent to the motel and since it was a Friday night the sound carried on until after 2 am. Other than that it was a great place to spend the night.

I have been staying at the Boss Motel for 18 years. I was concerned when I heard of the new ownership. I've stayed there two times this year and I will continue to stay here every trip to Jackman. The owner Mike is a great guy who will stop at nothing to make your trip a success. The Motel fits the area perfectly. From the convenient location near the night life to the best restaurant in town "Big Wood Steak House". Love this place.

With a new name and new owners I noticed a big change. Very friendly and willing to do what it takes to make your stay worth it. I will be back again. THere is one street in this town and everthing available is within walking distance, This is probably the worst choice in town-dirty-above a dive for a lounge-family owned and run by a seeminly seedy kind of family. Very uncomfortable place for a family--probably great for a bunch of "adventurous sort of guys" who care less for hygiene or quality.

They will help you in any possible way they can. Checking in early is not a problem and leaving your vehicle after check out time is fine. They are located closest to the night spot in town and closest to four restaurants in town. The price is lowest you will pay in Jackman for a very clean room with access to the snowmobile ITS trail connected to the back of their property. Gotta love this place.
