Mingo Motel, Wallowa

This little motel is quaint, clean, and tidy. The owners are obviously very involved in upkeep and care. The best part is the attention to detail that you usually only find in a bed and breakfast: our room had brass bedknobs (shaped like pine cones), and the room was trimmed and decorated with pine (trim, beds, table, bathroom door, etc). We will definitely be back to stay in this hotel; Joseph is only 1/2 an hour away (where we visit for the music and fun) and the Mingo Motel provides a delightful, quiet place to return to and sleep in, away from the chaos and noise of the good times in Joseph.
