Nice quiet place !

Had a really good stay in this beautiful place. Breakfast outside staring at the mountains.... mmm good memories of a road trip in the US ! Owner was friendly & helpful with late minute diner plans.

GREAT Place to stay

New owners are extremely friendly and courteous. Rooms are clean and well decorated. My wife and I went there on a snow mobile getaway and just loved it. We are all ready planing our next trip back there. Food and service is great. Recommend to anyone who wants a getaway, but there is no cell service and no phones in the rooms. For us that was a bonus. Beautiful Montana scenery.......

Great hotel & super food

We just stayed at the Grasshopper Inn a few days ago. The hotel is under new ownership. The location is beautiful. In the middle of a mountain valley with amazing views. The room was nice, and certainly for the price. We had dinner at the restaurant. My husband had steak and I had chicken fried steak. (possibly the BEST chicken fried steak I've ever had) Most importantly, the people who work there were very very friendly. We certainly enjoyed our stay there and hope to visit again! By the way, this hotel is dog friendly.

Wonderful

We stayed at Elkhorn Hotspring after my husband got back from a Miltary tour, we came to The Grasshopper Inn and the bartender at the time was friendly and provided wonderful service. Our experience at both locations will keep us comming back to Polaris many more times to come. Thank you!

This is the most beautiful place on earth!!

I love this place, my parents own it and they do a wonderful job of running it. It is located in the beautiful scenic grasshopper valley. Along the Pioneer Scenic Byway. There are several ways to get there. Each way there is so beautiful. You almost always see wildlife like elk, moose, deer, birds and more. It seriously is the last best place on earth.

Friendly folk

We arrived on bikes, travelling the Great Divide Mountain Bike route. My rear wheel was collapsing after many miles of rough roads from Banff,Canada. We were welcomed warmly, but more importantly, Tucker, the owner, ran me back to Butte to replace my busted rear wheel. To a cyclist, help of this nature is always welcome. We stayed over 2 days and nights, enjoyed great food and accommodation and an evening of Country music. You will need to travel a long, long way to recieve a warmer welcome than that offered by Marti and Tucker at the Grasshopper!
