Metlen Hotel Bar & Cafe, Dillon

I was born in Dillon March 09, 1954 and lived on Pacific Street so going "home" was sweet; we had stayed at the Metlen in the early '80's and it still is great. See other positive comments.

What a place!!!! A wonderful historical structure with so much to see. New owners have really spruced the place up. Now has a restaurant in the hotel. Back bar is beautiful. The woodwork through out the hotel is amazing. A must see. Going back Labor Day weekend to spend a few days. Everyone needs to check this place out.

Excellent time had by all in one of the most authentic buildings we've ever been in. Be sure and see the pub in the back. Fascinating antique's throughout. Note, we couldn't get a room when we were there but our mother and dad used to stay there for Labor Day Weekend. We were able to tour some of the rooms upstairs where they used to stay. A very unique place.

Awesome hotel with alot to see ! From a historical standpoint this is an amazing structure ! I am sure with amazing stories . The moscow mule drink is a must have . would be nice to stay overnite in one of the rooms upstairs.
