We had a great stay

We had a great stay at the Riverfront in New Richmond, WI. I made reservations beforehand, was quoted a reasonable price, and was charged what I was quoted. (I was ambivalent at first due to a review I found here) but was treated respectfully and very kindly for the whole stay. I found the family that runs the hotel very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned/restocked each day, and we had a continental breakfast each morning. Great value for the money, recommend.

Bait and Switch

We called to make a reservation and were quoted $85, we checked in and paid $85, then upon check out we are informed that the innkeepers wife made an error and the correct rate was $115 and therefore owed an additional $60. Another thing maid service is not daily, at least not the day we were there.

Best kept secret

Me and my family have stayed in all the Motels in New Richmond, Wi. The Riverfront Inn is by far the best bang for your dollar and further more is has the absolutely the best spot, since the new restaurant will be opening soon in June '06. This motel is a must stay for anyone who has not tried this spot. Give it try and see what you think. I gurantee you will not be disappointed. My family sure enjoyed the pool and the Hot tub. The Super 8 in town is a little more expensive and does not have an indoor pool and the Americ Inn is way too expensive. Good luck on your stay and God Bless.
