Other options in Red Lodge

We set up a nice house for our wedding, then got told we couldn't have our wedding there. Then we were told we could do the wedding...for another $600. When we opted to simply put the wedding party up at the house and have the wedding elsewhere, they began treating us like we were trying to get away with something. The office folks were rude to us, and the owner looked us in the eye and said "be careful with this place" as we were checking in. It was as if they were counting on us to trash the place, which was full of flies. Not to mention the bbq that actually had an inch-deep layer of grease running down the front and inside.
These guys also pulled my brother's reservation away 6 months after he signed a contract for it. They offered him a new place, but only after they first tried to get him to make with some extra $.
Let's just say this: it's a drag to put down $1500 for two nights in a house only to be treated like a child.
There are better options in Red Lodge than Red Lodge Reservations. Try the folks at Alpine. Or ask the wonderful people at the Medicine Flower Lodge about one of their nice houses or even their B & B.
While I'm sure the folks at RLR are able to treat some customers with courtesy, our 12-month adventure together was barely civil in the end.
