Great stay

We had the misfortune of car trouble in the town of Fossil, Oregon last summer. Luckily, we stumbled upon the Bridge Creek Flora Inn, and the owners were great to us. We stayed in the Lodge portion, which is a former Gentlemen's Lodge full of items from today and yesterday. You could spend quite a bit of time exploring the lodge alone, much less some of the other sights on the property (including a large wooly mammoth sculpture in the front yard). The place was very warm and comfortable, though you aren't likely going to have internet access. They had television, for those that need it, nice showers, and anything you need.
The breakfast was amazing, and ultimately the place was worth every penny. The owners were kind enough to allow us to stay around until our car was fixed (later in the evening), and even charged us less than the normal price due to our circumstances, as well as the number of empty rooms that night (there were only a couple other guys staying at the lodge). Heck, when it was discovered that we needed to go about 100 miles away to get a car part, they even offered to let us use one of their cars to get the part, if it was absolutely necessary. Great place, great people, and I will definitely be back.
