Snug Harbor Inn, Sturgeon Bay

The room was very reasonably priced and they allowed our dogs for only an additional $10. For the cost of the room, we were expecting a lot less. We really have no complaints except that the blinds were a little bent so people could see in the room (would prefer curtains). They had a nice bonfire by the shore at night, Wi-fi, and very pleasant service.

From the moment I stepped foot in the office I felt very comfortable and I knew we had chosen the right place to stay. The staff was so friendly, you could really tell they wanted you to really enjoy your stay in Door County. We headed to the room, with menu guides, maps, and plenty of brochures and personal tips from the owner, sure to make our vacation wonderful. We then headed up to the room. We stayed in Suite 202. This room was breathtaking, all that I anticipated and so much more! The room is a tan and burgundy suite with stunning views of Sturgeon Bay. My husband and I felt right at home with the full kitchen, large bathroom, two way fireplace(viewable from the bedroom and living room), a beautiful queen bed, and even a Jacuzzi tub over looking the water. There was even a spiral stairway leading up to a loft where there was a sitting area, perfect for reading! There was a balcony in the loft, as well as on the main level, making the beautiful view a huge focus. Other hotels in the area boast water-views but very few were of this caliber. From the ground level it was literally 15 steps to the waters edge. They even had docking, so we were able to bring our boat! At night we had a fire in the fire pit, right by the water. I don't know what could have been more perfect! Friendly staff full of great trip tips, a clean and luxurious room, the amazing view, docking for our boat, and all at a very reasonable and totally worth it price! I would recommend Snug Harbor Inn to anyone! In fact, as we were leaving, we booked a trip for this winter too, this time we are trying a luxury cottage! We can't wait!!

I loved Snug Harbor. We stayed 2 nights, and it was wonderful. We stayed in Cabin 1a. The back door opened up to the harbor. We left and drove around the next day, looking for a place to stay the night, we ended up going back to snug harbor another night because it was just that aweseom! AND ANOTHER PLUS: They let my mom's best friend's little dog stay with us as well!!

I had recently stayed at Snug Harbor Inn in suite 202. Let me tell you it was such a great experience I cannot wait to go back!. The view from the suite is spectacular, right on the water. The room itself was gorgeous equipped with full kitchen, bathroom, big bed, whirlpool, spiral staircase, loft, 2 balconys, and a fireplace. It was so relaxing to come back to the suite after a long day of shopping and relax in the whirlpool watching the sunset while enjoying a complimentary bottle of Door County wine. What a perfect vacation!
