The Very Best!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/04/07
My Husband, and I have been regulars at this Wonderful BnB for over 14 yrs. It is our favorite place to stay! We love the very large rooms, and have stayed in many of them. Having a whirlpool, and own bath in every room is so nice. The whirlpools are very big, and romantic. The breakfast basket delivered to your door is always very good. The antique dishes are very quaint. The beds are very comfortable and relaxing! The BnB is always very quiet, and private, even when they are full. The owners treat us with respect, as if we are family. Honestly this is the BEST, and our most FAVORITE BnB we have ever stayed at. We refer many people to this lovely place. It is the BEST you will ever find! Susan, and Steven T, West Bend,WI

I ALMOST FELT GUILTY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/07
Checking in to the Barbicon for just one night definitely was not enough. I almost felt guilty when I saw my "Villa" room compete with a jacuzzi for at least 4 people. It was a rainy night and I had a sore throat coming on, this was my third hotel in a week and at 5:30 am I was heading to the airport. My host was very obliging with a pot of water and teabags for me to have while relaxing in the jacuzzi after dinner. When I found out at 10:30pm I would have to check out very early in the morning, he said no problem I will have a breakfast basket for you at your door before 5:30am and he even gave me a knock on the door wake up call at 4:30am. Wow...what a host. The basket contained a carafe of hot coffee, 2 very large and DELICIOIS cherry muffins, an egg strata, juice and fruit. All for just me. No wonder I felt guilty! The room was like an Italian villa with castle like walls, a 4 poster bed enclosed in lace, a fireplace with a very soft couch to recline on and gaze into the fire (alone), a table, another seating area in front of an amoire with a tv, and a white baby grand piano (I don't play, but Liberace would have felt at home). The room covered one whole downstairs floor of a Victorian House within walking distance of shops, restaurants and Sturgeon Bay. Next time, I will go back with my husband.

So Relaxing!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/06/06
SO relaxing, with a private balconey and a very comfortable king size be. The room was spotless and fresh. We were already planning our next visit before we left. Walking distance to the water and to shops, Great breakfast too.

Wonderful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
We went here for a romantic weekend and it was marvelous. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. We had a 2 person jacuzzi tub, a canopy bed, a fireplace, TV, VCR, a sun porch and they delivered a wonderful continental breakfast to our door at a prespecified time without waking us. Hot coffee, hot chocolate, fruit, breads and juice. We can't wait to go back. It is an easy walk around the corner to downtown Sturgeon Bay and there were fresh baked cookies in the lobby too.
