A great place to stay . . .
. . . it is not too expensive and they will leave the room unlocked when you get there too late and they are asleep/the owners that is. There is a gas station and little convenience store at the base of the motel. Best of all, it is right on the trails, so long as there is snow. The only thing is that there are not many rooms, the place only has about 12 rooms but if you can get by the old, saggy mattresses, you'll be just fine as it could be considered "roughing-it."
