Well I liked that it had a Bed. I went in December during a normal cold front for that time of year with snow and ice. The heater was a combo AC/Heater unit in the wall about 1 inch too small for the hole in the wall it was placed in where the wind entered and ripped through the room and out the space around the door that you can see through from the bed. In attempts to turn on the heater, it shorted electricity so I could not use the heater and improvised with two blankets that I kept in my car for emergencies and added them to the bed along with sleeping in my clothes. Water in the toilet bowl and tank was a solid block of ice, the sink was a block of ice with a small hole where the water was allowed to run to prevent the pipes from bursting, I brought some sodas in from the car so they would not freeze and burst, left them on the table where they froze anyway deforming the can and laying them on their sides because the ends popped out. I reported the issue to the staff and they did tell me they would have switched me rooms but I was checking out. Worst night of sleep ever in my life, and I was in Afghanistan over an entire winter in a hammock for a month and was greatful for a piece of sheet wood that looked like a massage chair to my back for the rest of my deployment in a tin roofed cement building with only a drip stove for a 2000 square foot area for heat. This was an experience to say the least. I have laughed about it several times as I showed the pictures on my phone to everyone of the toilet, sink and my frozen sodas. I am sure warmer months would have been better, but avoid in the winter especially if you have children or family. Was this review helpful? (
