WE really enjoyed our stay. The owners really take pride in their motel. We could tell by the cleanliness and attention to detail.

Great air conditioning

We are very proud of our Motel. We keep it very clean, the beds are comfortable, and yes we do have air conditioning. We even have central air conditioning in our suite and deluxe rooms. Since many of our guests have asked us why on this site does it say we do not have air conditioning, we thought we would just set the record straight. The Interlochen Motel has great air conditioning.

It'll do

I've stayed here in the summer and in the winter. It's very small, cramped. No air conditioner and the heater is hard to adjust. But it was clean. I chose it simply because it was close to Interlochen Arts Camp and the price compares favorably with Stone Hotel on campus. Certainly not a vacation destination but a decent place to sleep while dropping off or picking up kids.

The best deal in the Traverse City area

The hosts were extremely friendly going out of their way to make us feel at home. Tammy pointed out great places to eat and the best way to move around the area. The accommodations were by far under priced compared to the other hotels in the area. Our room was neat and tidy. We even awoke to wild turkeys out the back window in the morning. No question about it. The Interlochen Motel is the best value for our money!
