Miss leading on prices!! RUDE!!!!

I was told that my room was going to cost $61.00 a night. My price quoted was 67.99 but after I presented my AARP card the price would be $61.00. I also asked several times if that included taxes and I was assured YES...I wrote down who I had spoke with (Alvus) and had printed off my confermation. AFTER arriving to check in on May 12, 2011 the lady at the front dest told me my total was $75.13. I told her that was a mistake since I was quoted $61.00. She arrgued and was VERY short with me and unpleasant that the total I had was INCORRECT!! Not only did I pay more but the web site is misleading... yes they have breakfast BUT when you get to the room you will see in their hotel directory that they have marked out the hours with a black marker that coffee/breakfast is served for only a hour and not until 8:00-9:00. I would NOT recommend this motel and definately before you stay, dont make a reservation and check the fine print in the rooms. Needless to say I was on the phone long distance for 20 minutes to make this reservation. K. Porter

Place was DIRTY....hadn't been cleaned in months the way the mold was in the bathroom! Windows just as bad!!! Lamps broken, not working,TV remote not working well, furniture stained,dirty!!!!! Management needs to be replaced. Things are NOT taken care of...desk person looked worn out, unkempt.Not good first impression. TOO BAD AS THIS COULD BE A NICE PLACE..WE STAYED HERE TWO YEARS AGO AND IT WAS NOT THIS DIRTY....GET YOU ACT TOGETHER...LOTS OF PEOPLE NEED JOBS! 11-10-11

Dirty! Upon checking we were met with a long black hair on a towel, an empty beer can under one of the beds, spiders in the bed, potato chips smashed on the carpet, and green slime covering the bottom half of the window!! Dialup Internet access as well as a VCR makes one wonder if the owners know about wi-fi and DVDs. Disappointing!

Love to hear those trucks go by...

We were led to believe that the inn was on the bay... Not so... You can see the bay looking over the RV park, past the telephone pole and tranformer and across a couple of roads and past the warehouses. No air conditioning so we had to leave our balcony door open. Of course, as its only a block from the Newport Bridge, all you can hear is the trucks trying to get up the bridge.

This hotel was good in all aspects. A nice place to enjoy. Good service was given by the hotel staff, would like to visit this place again along with my family and friends
