Elizabeth Street Inn, Newport

Great hotel, we had a wonderful room on the third floor overlooking the beach, the staff was graceful and the continental breakfast was on the upside of morning fare. The only downfall we found was the list of don't s they give you after you pay for your room which all come with a $200.00 fine if you don't comply. Other than that, a truly great place to stay.

This is probably one of the most undiscovered, wonderful finds on the Oregon Coast. The hotel is beautiful - all ocean front. Room came with robes, our own personal balcony, EXCELLENT service, hot breakfast included not to mention the hot cookies in the afternoon. A truely great hotel, I have recommended it to many family and friends.

First off...the amenities were used when we got into the room initially and when we called down to the front desk...they were very accommodating and said that they would send some new ones up. However, when the maintenance man knocked on our door, he didn't have the lotion that we requested. Later that night we realized that the TV cabinet was entirely too dusty inside the cabinet as well as around the TV itself. The next day our room was cleaned but we called down to the front desk and requested another set of amenities being that we had 3 people in our room. Even though they stated it would be right up...we never received the amenities requested. Our 2nd morning before checking out...we noticed that there was a beer bottle cap on the floor next to the night stand. When we checked out...we told the front desk of this issue and the other frustrations that we had. The agent said that they were making a list for the departments. We inquired if they could do anything for us because we had so many issues and they said that we would have to take it up with Expedia as we purchased the room from them. After calling Expedia in the parking lot of the hotel...they stated that they would have to talk with the hotel manager. After calling Expedia back and reviewing their conversation with the hotel, Expedia's hands were tied because the hotel wasn't willing to offer us a complimentary night. They said that they were not informed of the issues...After our numerous discussions, I hope this informs all of their potential travelers!

We were very happy with our stay here. My husband loved to sit on the deck overlooking the ocean & my son loved the indoor pool. The room was clean & tastefully decorated with a fireplace. A great place to stay!

The location was perfect, walk to shops and restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean. I personally found this hotel and location in the top 3 globally - this includes New York, Paris, London, Rome, etc. The Oregon Coast around Newport is out of this world and where I found the most relaxing anywhere. I can't wait to return both to this inn and Newport.

This was a great experience. The hotel is located on a beautiful stretch of beach with a breath taking view from every room. The staff was courteous, rooms were clean and comfortable. It could be better only if it had it's own restaurant and lounge. We got tired of having to walk so much to get food and drinks but it's in a nice area, Nye Beach with local color and good food and bars.

This hotel, hands down, is the best hotel in Newport, OR. The service was excellent, rooms were extremely comfortable, and the location is perfect. We had a chance to stay in one of their remodeled rooms and were very impressed. You can tell the owners trade pride in how this hotel looks.
